Review: Scrap Basket Sensation By KIM BRACKETT

Have you been collecting Jelly Rolls? Do you love Jelly Rolls?  I have been collecting Jelly Rolls, Charm-Packs, 1/8th, Fat quarter and all sorts of fabrics for my quilts, however my favorite has been the 2 1/2"  Jelly Rolls in beautiful shades, designs and colors and I am very pleased to have found a book which actually teaches and have patterns for them . " Scrap-Basket Sensation" By Kim Brackett has 18 beautiful quilt designs using just those 2 1/2" strips. The quilts in this book are shown in beautiful colored pictures wih easy to understand and detailed instrucion. I am currently working on Tipsy Basket and am very happy with the result (thanks to me for my love of fabric, managed to have some of them similar looking as in quilt..lol). Honestly, a beautiful quilt book and definately recommend having this if you love quilting or plan to do quilting soon. I am sure every quilter would love to have this book in their collection.

About the Author: Kim Brackett developed an interest in quilting in 1988 after admiring a collection of antique quilts displayed in an antique shop. She began gathering tools, fabrics, and patterns and finally finished her first quilt 10 years later in 1998! Although she prefers hand quilting, she has overcome many of the challenges of machine quilting and enjoys finishing her quilts in much less time.

Pros: Beautiful pictures of each quilt with clear and easy to follow instructions
Cons:None
Overall: Great Book
