Book Review: Girl's World

I am sure you all have heard the saying “Don't judge a book by its cover” but what should one do if the cover is so very tempting that you are tempted into buying it and to your surprise not only the cover the book is great too . Recently, I received "Girl's World" book by Jennifer Paganelli. I was immediately attracted to the book with the beautiful cover with some amazing colors and a girl wearing a yellow dress and a pink ribbon attached to the book. This book had 21 projects. Yes I don't say sewing projects as I don't believe that all the projects in the book can be tagged as sewing especially when there is no sewing involved. Don't get me wrong even though they are not sewing projects they are great projects.
The projects included in the book areClothing:
Mary's Sash Dress
Tallulah Halter Dress
Josie Dress
Agnes Tunic Dress
Sophie Glittered Apron
Georgia Tulle Ballet Skirt
Annabel Apron with Frilly Pocket
Accessories for Girls:
Hadley Headband
Penelope Ruffle-Top Purse
Chloe Paper Doll Overnight Bag
Pillows and other sewing projects
Bridget Banner with Pom-Poms
Gigi Ruffled Pillow
Willow Small Pillow with Pom-Poms
George the Puppy
Genevieve Patchwork Square Quilt
Molly Patchwork Memory Board
Happy Birthday Banner
Crafting Projects
Fiona Fabric Flower Pin/Barrette
Olivia Floral Lamp Shade
Girls' "Ambassador of Goodwill Badges
Katie Eliza Canopy and Pinwheel Strands
I love love the projects in this book as they are not only clearly explained however are very fresh and appealing. The author has taken good measures to explain each project step by step with illustrations wherever necessary. Also there are some beautiful photographs of finished projects and pattern sheets nicely tucked in envelope in the book. I would say overall it is a great sewing+crafting book for any girl and her mom who would love sewing these projects.
